Wow, do we love living in Park City! Every season has it's own personality. Let's start with summer.
Beautiful clear days with a tempature usually in the high 70's or low 80's. Cool at night... always! Free concerts in the park (Deer Valley Resort) every Wednesday night from late June until end of August. Bring your blank, beach chair, wine, food, or whatever you might want and sit back and relax. Day hikes, mountain biking, breakfast on the patio, 4th of July parade and meeting for hotdogs in the park after. Mountain Town Stages concerts in lots of outdoor venues all over the Park City area. Don't forget the end of summer "Cow Ballet"... if you haven't seen it you are really missing out. Summer is Heaven!
Fall - Cool crisp nights with the days cooling down. The leaves change to the most beautiful reds, yellows and oranges! Holloween brings trick or treaters down Main Street for a day of fun and candy. Sometimes a little snow too. Thanksgiving, some of the resorts open, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and lots of family and friends around. The lights go up on Main Street and you can feel the holiday spirit in the air. Fall is Heaven!
Winter - Christmas, with all the lights all over town and on the houses. Santa always visits the Park to show the kids he's thinking of them. Snow falls and the ground gets white. January is cold but not. Dry cold, you know never feels that cold. Sundance takes over the city and the stars are out in force. Stroll down Main Street and you never know who you might see... Jenifer Aniston, Ben Afleck, Kevin Bacon, Krya Sedgwick or even Paris Hilton. February brings more snow and the best powder on the face of the earth!!! We kid you not. Winter is Heaven!
Spring - Weather starts to get warmer. You can ski with just a light windbreaker or for some a T-shirt. Snow is killer good! April, the Park City Follies. Makes fun of all that is Park City and Utah. No one is exempt from harassment. May, lots more warm days, snow is almost gone on the valley floor. All of our winter guests go home and town settles into a quiet sleepy feel. Where did all the people go? Spring is Heaven.
And then we are back to summer...
Then there is the year round events that never end. Great music all over the Park City area. Park City's own improv group "Off the Top", some of the best restaruants in the world, fun bars and taverns, and of course friendly, pleasant people everywhere you go. Not to mention our schools are among the top schools in the nation.
